Weight Issues In The Brain

Apr 18, 2024

If you are struggling with your weight and no one is asking you about your brain, you are in the right place. As the leading Certified Brain Health Coach in the world and someone who has helped thousands of people heal their brains while healing their waistlines, there is a lot to learn that mainstream healthcare isn't talking about.

The truth is that weight issues start in the brain. Whether it be toxins or childhood infections that antibiotics never "fixed", our gut health can be set up for failure. Then as we go through the stress of life, the brain's cortisol gets out of whack, and alongside extra weight, now we are exhausted, sad, easily panicked, and forgetful.

One concussion early in life can also set you up for weight issues throughout life. The pituitary gland and thymus in the brain are what regulate our hormones. When damaged from a concussion, we suffer hormonal changes. This is why many people quickly lose weight when they get on bioidentical hormone replacement- they are getting to a root cause!

To learn more about all the risk factors associated with weight issues that a "normal" doctor isn't looking for, consider seeing a functional medicine doctor or traditional Chinese medicine doctor. Working alongside a doctor who actually knows what they're doing is a non-negotiable for the clients I work with. Otherwise, none of my 5,000 clients would be living in their dream body, feeling strong, energized, motivated, and joyful.
