Better sex for ADHD couples
Mar 12, 2024It's no surprise that ADHD couples struggle more than non-ADHD couples in the bedroom. Typically, one partner has a much higher sex drive than the other which can lead to frustration, feelings of guilt or rejection, and unfortunately for some divorce, porn addiction, affairs, or unwelcome invitations for swinging or group sex.
The good news is that by getting to the root of ADHD, leaving no rock unturned, ADHD couples can be happier, healthier, and wealthier than ever! As the leading Brain Health Coach and ADHD Coach in the world, here are my go-to fave intimacy & sex tips for ADHD couples.
- Schedule sex. I know it sounds boring or weird but trust me, it works! Have massage oil and fun get-to-know-you card games on the nightstand
- Take Saffron. It boosts mood and sexual intimacy.
- Light cinnamon-smelling candles. They boost sexual desire.
- Agree that "fighting as foreplay" is no longer acceptable. In order to have an amazing sex session, intimacy is key. Intimacy means men asking women lots and lots of questions to get them excited. (For gay couples, ask each other lots of questions:-)
- Be sure your Vitamin D blood level is between 70 and 100. Low Vitamin D is responsible for a long list of health issues including sexual dysfunction
