Allowing Nature To Heal Your Weight

One of the first questions I ask all my new clients is how often they spend time in nature. 

As someone who saw the world's best doctors, did hyperbaric oxygen therapy, EMDR, CBT, you name it--- and still struggled with excess weight-- I discovered the missing piece was nature. I love the sun and I love being in water or the grass. Yet I wasn't spending enough time intentionally in Mother Nature. Once I began talking to the Earth, Water, and Wind, everything changed. Water was taking my excess weight for me. The Earth was giving me the nutrients I needed from grounding (walking barefoot) which regulated my nervous system- after all, a frazzled nervous system is what caused the weight gain in the first place. The wind took away my past pain and hurts, giving me gentle kisses to heal my heart. 

There are over 200,000 scientific articles sharing the healing benefits of grounding, also known as Earthing or walking barefoot. I'm excited to see that thousands of them are related to healing weight issues by regulating the nervous system, cortisol, and other hormones. 

This is why I have every woman I coach grounding every day. Like Mother Earth, she is setting the tone for her entire family and community. By healing herself, she is healing everyone around her.
